Project Background

Qasr Al Umayyah Restaurant is a well-known local dining establishment housed in a distinctive heritage-style stone building, popular among families and local residents. To strengthen its competitiveness in the family dining market and extend customer length of stay, the client decided to add a dedicated indoor children’s play area as a supporting facility.

Hello Cat was selected as the project partner for our full turnkey capability and experience in Middle East markets. We tailored the entire playground to match the restaurant’s brand identity, spatial conditions and target age group, delivering a safe, aesthetically coordinated and operationally friendly play space.

Play Zone Highlights

The playground integrates multiple functional zones to cover children aged 2–10, creating a rich and layered play experience within a compact footprint.

1. Multi-Lane LED Slide & Ball Pit Zone

As the core attraction of the venue, the three-lane slide is equipped with built-in LED lighting effects that create a dynamic sliding experience. The slide leads directly into a large ocean ball pit filled with soft, food-grade plastic balls. The area also features interactive projection games and soft play sculptures, keeping children engaged for extended periods.

2. Trampoline & Obstacle Expansion Zone

This zone combines professional trampoline mats, basketball hoops, climbing rings and obstacle tunnels. It satisfies older children’s demand for physical activity and challenge, while all structural edges and contact surfaces are fully soft-packed to prevent impact injuries.

3. Spiral Slide & Climbing Tunnel System

The elevated tunnel network connects different play areas, encouraging children to crawl, explore and develop motor skills. The spiral slide offers a different sliding experience from the multi-lane slide, adding diversity to the venue.

4. Carousel & Interactive Play Area

A classic carousel with spring riders and a variety of sensory wall games cater to younger toddlers. The area is designed with clear sightlines so parents can easily supervise their children from the dining area.

5. Brand Customization & Supporting Facilities

All soft pack panels are printed with the restaurant’s Arabic logo and brand color system, ensuring visual consistency with the overall venue. We also configured dedicated shoe storage cabinets and rest areas at the entrance to support daily operation and hygiene management.

Safety & Quality Standards

Safety is the foundational principle of all Hello Cat projects. For this restaurant playground, which sees high daily foot traffic, we applied strict commercial-grade material and construction standards:

Inner filling: High-density flame-retardant sponge with excellent shock absorption performance, meeting international fire safety requirements
Outer covering: Premium scratch-resistant and wear-resistant PU material, waterproof and easy to wipe clean, greatly reducing daily maintenance costs
Main frame: Galvanized steel pipe structure with strong load-bearing capacity and long service life
Protective netting: High-tensile safety netting with fine mesh to prevent body parts from getting caught
Edge treatment: All sharp corners and hard surfaces are fully wrapped with soft padding

All materials and structures comply with international commercial playground safety standards, making the venue suitable for long-term, high-frequency commercial operation.
